Mafia Definitive edition has the best gameplay which is to be expected with 10 years between them. Mafia 2 had a fantastic soundtrack and even better world with shops, customisation and more to do and see to get that 1950s vibe.
The issue is that since I’m on ps5 there is no way to play the original Mafia 2, so should I get it? Also im wondering if most of the bugs have been fixed or not. I’m gonna get it, anyway if I don’t like it (which I doubt will happen) it’s on sale for £8/$9 so it’s not like I’m spending a lot on it.
Mafia Definitive Edition vs original. I finished the game last night and as a big fan of the original I'd like to share how I feel about the changes they've made. Tommy Angelo was not a tough guy in the original game and his voice matched that. I think that made original Tommy Angelo a more believable character at the start of the game, whereas
Yes it’s worth it! i played the original mafia 1 and also played and finished the remake yesterday and it was amazing. they did a really really good job on this remake, the story is still as good as i remember and it was cool to witness the story, the city etc again in a remake. honestly, it’s worth it. performance on PC is also good, since
Definitive edition has a few difficulty settings and while racing is better a doable on lower settings, it's still bullshit on classic difficulty. A little bit better, but still will make you sweat. Something interesting. The og racing was difficult because developer was making a "realistic" racing game and used steering wheels .
For Mafia 2 Classic there is a trainer that is called M2EXT, it contains the options you wrote about. M2EXT as well as the entire M2 Classic runs on Directx 9, however Mafia 2 Definitive Edition runs on Directx 11 - so a simple conversion is not possible. I have the source code of M2EXT (I got it from the original author yusik).
Nu6d4Sz. Mafia III's melee came in two flavors- brutal takedowns associated with combat, which were great; and then badly scripted fights that played much worse than II. Overall, I'd say Mafia II had the best melee. Cars/Driving: Mafia I and III are tied in terms of car variety, although II isn't shabby.
I loved playing Mafia II on my Xbox 360 and recently started playing through it again on Steam, so you can imagine how excited I was for the remastered versions on PS4. And even though I've heard that "update" is actually pretty buggy, I am still debating getting the whole trilogy, and this of course has to do with the remaster of the first game.
Mafia: Definitive Edition is $39.99. It's not a shot-for-shot remake, although it is a built-from-the-ground-up remake of the original 2002 Mafia game. Tommy Angelo's wife has more than one scene
Original Mafia 2, there is no major difference in graphics apart from slightly better lighting and textures. Mafia 2 definitive edition have really bad optimization so it's not worth it. Reply
Yup, for example in the mission Crème De La Crème in the OG Mafia, there are 3 endings you can choose from. Killing morello by following him to a bridge where he will die, the plane ending where you shoot the plane and it crashes and morello dies (this is the one they chose for the Remake.), the other ending is just another way you can kill Morello by going near his escape vehicle.
